This is Joe Brown.  This photo was taken in 2005 during his 50th wedding anniversary.

Most would say he looks pretty good for his age (he's 71 here)- real hair

color and no plastic surgery.  No bad for someone who was given a

death sentence 28 years ago.  

In 1979 Joe was pronounced "terminal" with cancer.  A baseball-sized tumor in his

right lung left his Doctors no other choice but to tell him to go home, put his

affairs in order and like so many others are also told… prepare for the end.  If Hospice services

had existed in his community at that time the story would end there.

After an amazing journey that began under the treatment of a Non-Orthodox

Doctor he not only regained his health but now, 28 years later, is still cancer free.

You may wonder:  What has he done with all

that "extra time" he received?
